This time, FAO’s financial assistance covers eight regions: Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, and Dnipropetrovsk. Under the program’s conditions, support can be received by both small farmers and aggregators actively engaged in the cultivation or processing of berry products.

Opportunities for Agricultural Business Development

The grants aim not only to stimulate berry production but also to promote the implementation of modern technologies, create new jobs, and expand the export potential of Ukrainian farms. FAO also focuses on strengthening cooperation between farmers and processing enterprises in the regions participating in the program.

“The new grant cycle will cover the Volyn, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.”

Thanks to FAO’s initiative, Ukrainian berry producers will be able to access additional resources to develop their farms and enhance their competitiveness in both domestic and foreign markets.
