Intensity of Road Transport Shipments Remains Steady

At the beginning of April, the export rate of agricultural products by road remained stable at approximately 9.8 thousand tons per day, which corresponds to the level at the end of March. By the end of March 2026, the volumes of road transport exports reached the highest level since November 2024.

Export Structure and Main Directions

The largest share of road transport exports in March consisted of processed products. In particular, the main exported goods were sunflower oil (30.9 thousand tons), poultry meat (27.8 thousand tons), sugar (20.4 thousand tons), soybean meal (20.8 thousand tons), ethyl alcohol (20.5 thousand tons), and soybean oil (17.7 thousand tons). At the same time, the volumes of oil and meal exports have already surpassed those of soybeans.

Geographically, the main export flows are concentrated towards Poland, where about 4.5–5.6 thousand tons of products are shipped daily, and Romania – 2.4–3.6 thousand tons per day.

“The volume of agricultural product exports by road in the first quarter of this year has noticeably increased.
