Turkey Announces International Tender for the Purchase of 250,000 Tons of Feed Barley

Tender Conditions and Logistics
According to the tender conditions, grain deliveries are to take place between November 10 and December 10. Barley will be delivered in batches ranging from 5,000 to 25,000 tons to the ports of Iskenderun, Mersin, Izmir, Samsun, Trabzon, Bandirma, Giresun, and Tekirdag. This logistics organization allows for an even distribution of the cargo among the main port cities of the country.
Features of Participation in the Tender
Market participants estimate that batches of barley that have already been imported to Turkey and are located in customs warehouses may also be eligible to participate in the tender. This creates additional opportunities for rapid grain supply without delays associated with transportation from other countries.
