Ukraine’s Agricultural Exports Decreased by 38% in September 2025
In September 2025, Ukraine exported 2.84 million tons of agricultural products, which is 38% less compared to the same month last year, when exports amounted to 4.6 million tons.

Export Details of Major Crops
As of September, wheat exports decreased by 21% to 1.83 million tons. Meanwhile, barley exports amounted to 238 thousand tons, which is 4% more than in September 2024. A significant reduction occurred in rapeseed: in September, its export totaled 220 thousand tons, which is 3.2 times lower than last year’s level.
Corn shipments abroad decreased by 8.6 times and amounted to only 61 thousand tons. Soybean exports also halved to 78 thousand tons.
Decrease in Oil and Legume Exports
The export of sunflower oil significantly decreased — in September, Ukraine shipped 203 thousand tons, which is 42% less than last year. The volumes of legume exports also decreased by 24%, totaling 177 thousand tons.
