State Support for Agrarians: March Results
As part of the state compensation program coordinated by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, another payment was approved in March 2026. It provides for a 25% reimbursement of the cost of new Ukrainian equipment to agrarians. According to official data, the total amount of compensation paid was 353.8 million UAH.
Funds will be received by 1,113 agricultural enterprises that purchased 2,316 units of agricultural machinery and equipment to develop their production capacities. Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev noted that these results demonstrate growing trust in national producers and the effectiveness of state support.
“Agrarians are investing in a wide range of modern equipment — from irrigation systems and plant protection to powerful units for soil cultivation, drying, and storage of crops.”
Leaders Among Regions and Program Outcomes
The program operates throughout Ukraine, but the greatest activity in March 2026 was demonstrated by Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, and Poltava regions.
From April 2024 to March 2026, over 10,000 agricultural producers participated in the program, purchasing nearly 17,000 units of equipment worth 12.2 billion UAH. During this period, the state compensated agrarians 2.6 billion UAH.

Additional Incentives for Agrarians in Frontline Areas
Starting from April 2026, the government introduced increased compensation for enterprises whose arable land is located in combat zones by 80% or more. Now such farmers are entitled to a 40% compensation (excluding VAT) of the cost of purchased domestic equipment. This decision aims to strengthen the resilience of the agricultural business under challenging security conditions.
Investments in modern Ukrainian machinery not only contribute to increasing the productivity of agrarians but also support the operation of domestic factories, providing new jobs and strengthening the economic stability of the country.
