The Ten Most Popular Motorcycles Among Ukrainian Buyers in September
In September, Ukrainians purchased 7,000 motorcycles, demonstrating an 11.2% market growth compared to the same period last year. However, compared to August, sales volumes decreased by 18.1%. This trend is associated with seasonal fluctuations: in summer, market activity traditionally increases, while with the onset of the off-season, the number of transactions decreases.

On the secondary market, Honda remained the undisputed leader. Following are the Chinese brands Lifan and Geon, which, due to a minimal gap, pushed Yamaha to fourth place in the ranking. Experts note that the market is actively being replenished with new Chinese models, gradually displacing Japanese, American, and German brands to lower positions.
Among the used motorcycles imported from abroad, Ukrainians most frequently purchased:
- Honda — 160
- Suzuki — 116
- Kawasaki — 89
- Yamaha — 84
- Harley-Davidson — 42
- BMW — 22
- Triumph — 12
- KTM — 6
- Indian — 6
- Ducati — 6
In the segment of new motorcycles in September, three brands were vying for first place: Spark, Lifan, and Musstang. The difference between them was minimal; however, thanks to these figures, they made it into the top three.
Analysts emphasize that this month, there was no room in the TOP-10 for any other brands except for Chinese and Indian manufacturers.
“According to analysts from IDA, motorcycles in Ukraine are increasingly being purchased not for hobbies, but as a primary means of transportation.”
