TOP-5 Most Profitable Products of Ukrainian Agro-Exports in 2025
The most profitable categories of Ukrainian agro-exports in 2025 were sunflower oil, corn, wheat, soybeans, and poultry meat. Experts from the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business note that the top three leaders in terms of revenue remained unchanged compared to the previous year. Soybeans rose from fifth to fourth place, despite the fact that the profit from their export remained at the level of 2024. At the same time, rapeseed lost positions in the ranking of the most profitable crops due to a decrease in foreign currency revenues.

Market Dynamics: EU, Africa, and Asia
The European Union remains the largest importer of Ukrainian agricultural products. However, in 2025, there was a slight decrease in the share of exports to EU countries, which is related to changes in trade conditions with the European bloc. If in 2024 the EU’s share in the structure of Ukrainian agro-exports was 52%, in 2025 this figure decreased to 49%.
“At the same time, the share of exports to African countries, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East increased, although purchases from Asia decreased (mainly due to minimal exports to China)”.
Overall, last year saw an expansion of the geography of Ukrainian agricultural product exports due to increased supplies to Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, although export volumes to China significantly decreased.
