- a small hole in the lower part of the trident;
- trapezoidal gap between the leaf and the process;
- a bunch with a small notch.
In addition, there is another variety – 2AGm, in which there are large holes in the lower part of the trident, and the price of such a coin ranges from 5 to 30 UAH.
Why are ordinary coins not valuable?
It is worth noting that you will not be able to get rich on most old Ukrainian coins. Collectors usually value only coins made of precious metals, such as silver or gold, as well as rare specimens. Ordinary circulating Ukrainian coins cannot be considered a treasure due to their mass and simplicity.
“For some reason, people think that if you take a coin, put it aside and sell it to someone there in 100 years, it will be worth a million. This is a mistake,” said numismatist Vitaly Tkach.
He emphasized that 99.9% of coins are absolutely ordinary. In order to find at least one value, collectors have to look through a huge number of coins.
