Agrarians Paid 1.2 Billion UAH to the Budget for Using State Land
Over the course of the “Land Bank” project, Ukrainian agrarians have paid approximately 1.2 billion hryvnias to the state budget for the use of state agricultural lands. A significant portion of the first pool, which consisted of 90,900 hectares, has already been transferred into legal use — that is 62,000 hectares.

Formation of Market Price and New Opportunities for Agrarians
The preparation of the second pool of lands is already underway, which is expected to provide even more opportunities for agrarians to develop their businesses within the “Land Bank” initiative. The high interest in the auctions is confirmed by an average competition of five participants for each lot. As a result, a fair market price is being established, and the average sublease rate currently stands at 19,100 hryvnias per hectare per year, including VAT.
Regional Indicators and Demand for State Land
The highest revenues from the use of state land were generated by agricultural enterprises in the Kharkiv region — 238 million hryvnias. At the same time, the demand for state lands remains consistently high among small and medium-sized agribusinesses across all 19 regions where the project has been implemented.
“From the first pool of 90,900 hectares, 62,000 have already been transferred into legal use, bringing in nearly ₴1.2 billion in payments that will replenish the state budget,” said Minister of Economy Oleksiy Sobolev.
The highest average price per hectare of state land (including VAT) was recorded in the Lviv region — 54,890 hryvnias, and in the Ivano-Frankivsk region — 46,792 hryvnias. Meanwhile, the lowest average price for state land is observed in the Zakarpattia region — 5,115 hryvnias per hectare.
