Approved Projects Worth ₴4.5 Billion for the Recovery of Ukraine in Energy and Infrastructure

As part of the third phase of the recovery program for Ukraine, 130 projects have been approved with a total value of ₴4.5 billion. This was reported by the Ministry of Development of Ukraine.

Main Areas of Funding
Among the approved projects, the following stand out:
- Energy resilience of communities – 36 projects worth ₴1.1 billion;
- Modernization of water supply and sewage infrastructure – 68 projects worth ₴2 billion;
- Reconstruction of medical facilities – 21 projects worth ₴1.1 billion;
- Construction of housing for internally displaced persons – 5 projects worth ₴300 million.
Implementation Timeline and International Support
The implementation period for the projects will be 18 months, with facilities related to the energy resilience of communities required to be completed before the start of the heating season in October.
At the same time, work has begun in Rivne on the thermal modernization of two lyceums, which is being carried out with the financial support of the European Investment Bank.
Lithuania is also allocating over €4.6 million for the installation of solar power plants with energy storage in medical facilities in Ukraine. This will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the development of innovative renewable technologies, and the enhancement of Ukraine’s energy security.
