The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted new rules for establishing minimum export prices for a number of key agricultural products, including honey, soybeans, rapeseed, wheat, corn, sunflower oil, and barley.

This is reported by AgroReview

This was reported by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk. He noted that changes have been made to the Procedure for approving minimum allowable export prices for certain types of goods. In particular, the amendments relate to the terms of delivery used to calculate the minimum export prices for agricultural products.

From now on, the calculation of minimum export prices for the specified goods will be based on the tenth percentile, rather than the fifth, as it was previously. Additionally, when determining these prices, data from the previous month will not be taken into account for goods declared under forward contracts, as well as for the relevant codes of the UKTZED concerning operations involving the export of seeds.

According to the new rules, the minimum allowable export price for a specific product cannot be lower than the minimum price for the same product under similar delivery conditions in the previous month.

Discussion on the Future Market

The further development of the grain and oil market in Ukraine, as well as in the Black Sea region, will be the topic of discussion at the 23rd International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV, which will take place on April 24 in Kyiv. Participation in the conference will provide an opportunity for strategic discussions and networking with industry leaders.
