Dollar Exchange Rate Forecast in Ukraine Until the End of March 2025

Experts predict that the situation in Ukraine’s currency market will remain stable over the next week, with no significant threats to the national currency. According to Taras Lesovyi, head of the treasury department at Globus Bank, currency fluctuations will be minimal.

Lesovyi noted that the dollar exchange rate will range between 41.4 and 42 hryvnias per dollar by March 30, 2025, both in the interbank and cash markets. Thus, 100 dollars will cost approximately 4140 to 4200 hryvnias in Ukraine, while 1000 dollars will be 41400 to 42000 hryvnias.

Forecast for the Second Quarter

Serhii Mamedov, chairman of Globus Bank, believes that the Ukrainian currency market will remain relatively stable in the second quarter of 2025. He emphasized that the monetary measures of the National Bank of Ukraine, which affect the “strength” of the hryvnia, will reduce demand for foreign currency. Consequently, the NBU may decrease the volume of currency interventions, which will help maintain a balance between supply and demand.

Calculations show that in the second quarter, the official dollar exchange rate will fluctuate between 41.8 and 42.8 hryvnias per dollar.
