Grants for Processing: Ukrainians Submitted 201 Applications for 1.1 Billion UAH

During the first month of 2025, Ukrainian entrepreneurs submitted 201 applications for grants for processing enterprises, with a total amount exceeding 1.07 billion UAH. This indicates a strong interest from businesses in the support program introduced by the Ministry of Economy.

Compared to the same period last year, when 144 applications were submitted for a total of 701 million UAH, the number of new applications has increased by 40%, and the requested funding amount has risen by 52.6%. This growth has been recorded against the backdrop of challenging economic conditions, demonstrating the determination of Ukrainian entrepreneurs to seek new opportunities for development.

Leading Industries and Regions

Among the applicants, food producers, furniture manufacturers, metal product manufacturers, concrete producers, and agro-processors are predominant. In particular, a significant share of applications was submitted by companies involved in the production of aircraft.

“Compared to last year, the number of applications has increased by almost 40%, and the requested funding amount has risen by 52.6%. The growth in business activity in this grant program indicates that Ukrainian entrepreneurs, despite all the challenges, are focused on development and are seeking opportunities for this. It is especially important that the leaders in the number of applications this month are projects in the field of aircraft production,” noted First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko.

Regional Features

The most active applications were submitted by entrepreneurs from Lviv region (29), Kyiv (22), Kyiv region (19), Kharkiv region (17), and Dnipropetrovsk region (17). Applications were received from almost all regions of Ukraine, including frontline territories in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions.
