Starting in April, Poland will launch a preferential lending mechanism for companies participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine. The total initial amount of financing will be PLN250 million (approximately €60 million). It is important to note that for the first time, European funds that were not utilized under the previous EU budgetary framework will be used for this purpose. This is just the initial amount, and its volume may be increased in the future.

The funds will be provided to Polish companies to enhance exports, organize production processes, transport, and improve the logistics capabilities of those companies planning to operate in Ukraine. The interest rate on loans for firms entering the Ukrainian market will be 2%. For companies that already have partners in Ukraine, this rate will decrease to 1.75%. Even lower interest rates are planned for medical companies.

The maximum amount of a single loan will be PLN10 million (€2.4 million), and the repayment term for the loans will range from 10 to 12 years.
