Conditions for Receiving Support and Amount
The program is aimed at farmers affected by the full-scale war and is designed to strengthen rural communities in frontline areas. Each participant can receive a voucher worth 1,500 USD (in the equivalent in hryvnias), intended exclusively for the purchase of quality seeds and mineral fertilizers. The total budget for the initiative is 4 million USD.
- Farms located in the Dnipropetrovsk or Chernihiv regions can participate.
- The area of agricultural land must range from 10 to 150 hectares.
- Priority will be given to agricultural producers who have suffered losses due to hostilities.
Application Procedure and Selection Criteria
Applications for participation in the program must be submitted through the State Agricultural Register (DAR) by January 31, 2026. After the document submission period ends, participants will receive a notification in their personal DAR account with further instructions on how to use the vouchers. At the same time, submitting an application does not guarantee funding — the final selection will be made according to FAO criteria.
“This program will help agricultural producers prepare in a timely manner for the spring planting, maintain production, and strengthen the country’s food security amid the war,” noted Deputy Minister Denys Bashlyk.
Special priority in the selection process will be given to small farms led by women.
The initiative is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture in collaboration with the FAO, with financial support from the Government of Norway.
