State Grant of Up to 7 Million UAH for Greenhouse Farms: Application Acceptance Resumed
Ukrainian farmers have once again been given the opportunity to apply for a state grant for the establishment or development of greenhouse farms. As of February 2, the acceptance of applications has resumed under a program that was previously suspended in the spring of last year. This support has already been recognized by agrarians as one of the most effective for the industry.

New Funding Conditions for Greenhouse Projects
The state support program operates in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 738 dated June 21, 2022. It provides for three levels of funding depending on the area of the greenhouse:
- For areas from 0.4 to 0.6 hectares – a grant of 2 million UAH.
- For areas from 0.8 to 1.2 hectares – 3.5 million UAH.
- For the largest greenhouses, from 1.6 to 2.4 hectares – a grant of 7 million UAH.
A significant innovation in the program is the change in co-financing conditions. Previously, the state covered 70% of the project cost, while the farmer covered 30%. Now, the funding is split equally: the applicant must provide 50% of the funds, and the state will provide the other 50%. To receive the grant, the applicant must deposit their share into an account at a state bank (Oschadbank or Ukreximbank), which confirms their readiness to implement the project.
Requirements for Program Participants
Grant applicants must be registered in the State Agrarian Register and own or lease a land plot for at least seven years at the time of application submission. Additionally, the program requires the creation of at least four permanent jobs for each hectare of greenhouse, as well as ten seasonal jobs.
