Ukraine exported nearly 13 million tons of wheat in the 2024/2025 marketing year

As of March 28, 2024/2025 marketing year, Ukraine has exported 32 million 389 thousand tons of grains and leguminous crops. This is a decrease of 1 million 810 thousand tons or 5.5% compared to the previous year.

According to the data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the volume of wheat exports reached 12 million 977 thousand tons, which is a decrease of 507 thousand tons or 4.06% compared to last year.

Export of other crops

At the same time, Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 206 thousand tons of barley and 10.8 thousand tons of rye. The volume of corn exports amounted to 16 million 720 thousand tons, which is 1 million 727 thousand tons or 10.3% less than in the previous season.

Flour and the share of agricultural products in exports

In addition, 53.1 thousand tons of flour were sent, which is equivalent to 70.8 thousand tons of grain. This represents a decrease of 25.0 thousand tons or 47.08% compared to last year. It is important to note that the share of agricultural products in Ukraine’s total exports is 64%.
