The introduction of agricultural attachés was discussed during a meeting between the leadership of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine and a delegation from the European Union, along with representatives from EU member state embassies. Among the topics of discussion were the outcomes of screenings within the negotiation process with the EU, further harmonization of legislation, and enhancing cooperation between the economic, agricultural, and environmental sectors.

Support from European Partners and Strategic Prospects

According to EU representatives, the European Union is ready to continue supporting Ukraine—both financially and technically. Special attention was given to the importance of developing the institution of agricultural attachés, which will serve as an effective tool for promoting Ukrainian agricultural products in international markets and strengthening the country’s position in global trade.
