Ukraine plans to open weapon export offices in Berlin and Copenhagen as early as 2025. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky, who emphasized that such steps will attract additional funds for the development of the domestic defense industry and the production of scarce types of weapons.

Effective Use of Export Potential

According to the president, Ukraine will not export its entire range of weapons. They plan to export only those types of weapons that are produced in sufficient quantities, without creating a deficit for their own army. In particular, it is noted that Ukrainian enterprises produce twice as many naval drones as are used by the Defense Forces. Furthermore, with proper funding, the export potential may also grow in the field of artillery weapons.

New Approaches to Cooperation and Production

The President of Ukraine proposed that international partners fully finance the production of certain types of scarce weapons at Ukrainian enterprises, with the subsequent distribution of the obtained weapons being shared equally. Some countries agree to transfer their share of such weapons to Ukraine, which helps strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.

Additionally, according to the head of state, by the end of November, Ukraine’s defense industry plans to produce between 600 and 800 interceptor drones per day.

“By the end of November, the Ukrainian defense industry plans to produce 600-800 interceptor drones daily. The head of state confirmed that the government target of ‘up to 1,000 per day’ remains in effect. According to Zelensky, missile programs are also progressing in parallel.”
