Since the beginning of the full-scale war, there has been a notable increase in the activity of Ukrainian businesses in Poland.
Change in the Structure of Ukrainian Migration
Before the war, Ukrainians mostly moved to Poland for employment in construction, agriculture, and the service sector. The situation changed after the full-scale invasion by Russia — representatives of the middle class, including entrepreneurs with sufficient resources to start their own businesses abroad, have relocated en masse to the neighboring country.
Prospects for Economic Cooperation
Ukrainian businesspeople continue to actively integrate into the Polish economy. They are not only registering new companies but also creating jobs and diligently paying taxes. Experts predict that this trend will further strengthen economic relations between Ukraine and Poland.
