Ukroboronprom Increased Weapons Production by 50% in 2025

Enterprises of the state concern “Ukrainian Defense Industry” significantly increased the production volumes of weapons and military equipment in 2025. According to the Ministry of Defense, the total production value rose from ₴122 billion in 2024 to over ₴180 billion in 2025, indicating a 50% increase compared to the previous year.

Expansion of Production and Growth of State Orders

The significant increase in production indicators was made possible by a large-scale expansion of production capacities and an increase in state orders. Throughout the year, the number of contracts signed also grew by approximately 50%. This allowed for the provision of the Ukrainian military with modern equipment and weapons in greater volumes.

Involvement of Veterans and Training of Personnel

Veterans of the war play an important role in the development of the defense industry. “Ukroboronprom” actively involves former servicemen in work at its enterprises, and in 2025, the number of veterans within the company increased by 37%. Overall, over 1,000 individuals with military service experience are employed in the industry. At the same time, the concern is developing cooperation with educational institutions to train new specialists for the defense sector.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the development of the Ukrainian defense industry will remain a priority, as Ukrainian weapons are one of the key pillars of the country’s security.

Moreover, the Ministry of Defense is already providing Ukrainian soldiers with over 1,500 interceptor drones daily, highlighting the growth of the production capabilities of the country’s defense sector.
