FAO announces a tender for the development of a state register for viticulture and winemaking in Ukraine

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Ukraine has launched a tender to create the State Automated System “Vine and Winemaking Register”. The implementation of this project is supported by the European Union in Ukraine.

Purpose of the register and its capabilities

The modern system is expected to provide convenient and prompt access to information about vineyards and wineries, as well as allow for the timely updating of data and its effective use for the development of the industry. The register will involve working with mapping services, secure information exchange, and integration with other state registers.

“Viticulture and winemaking require not only quality production but also modern digital tools for data management, registration, and information tracking,” the FAO statement reads.

Who can participate and key dates

Companies and consortia with proven experience in developing state or industry digital systems, engaged in geoinformation solutions, integration with state APIs, and implementing IT projects for the public sector of Ukraine are invited to participate in the tender.

Key dates for the tender:

  • May 11, 2026, 15:00 – informational meeting for potential participants;
  • May 20, 2026, 18:00 – deadline for submitting questions regarding the tender;
  • May 25, 2026, 18:00 – final deadline for submitting tender proposals.
