Scaling the Grain from Ukraine Initiative
The humanitarian program Grain from Ukraine, launched in 2022, has already facilitated the supply of over 324 thousand tons of agricultural products to 19 countries in Africa and Asia. In March 2026, the initiative was expanded to the Food from Ukraine format, which involves the gradual establishment of a network of international agri-food hubs in African and Middle Eastern countries. This will serve as a transitional phase from raw material exports to the formation of a systematic supply of finished agricultural products in the region.
