Grants for Starting a Business: 500,000 UAH for New Entrepreneurs

The Ukrainian government has expanded the grant program for starting a business through the “Diia” platform, adding seven more regions to the list of areas with increased funding. Now the maximum grant amount available for eight regions is 500,000 UAH.

This information was revealed in a statement from the Ministry of Digital Transformation. New opportunities for obtaining grants are now available for entrepreneurs from the following regions:

• Donetsk;
• Dnipropetrovsk;
• Zaporizhzhia;
• Mykolaiv;
• Kherson;
• Chernihiv;
• Sumy.

Previously, only entrepreneurs from Kharkiv could take advantage of this opportunity. Grant funds can be used for purchasing equipment, acquiring raw materials and supplies, renting premises, as well as for other expenses related to starting or developing a business.
