“We purchased 78% of the shares. The buyer was the ‘Kostopil Glass Factory,'” noted Oliinyk.

According to him, between 2025 and 2027, it is planned to invest 250 million hryvnias in the modernization and development of the brewery. The strategy focuses on the Khmelnytskyi region market, the opening of a proprietary store network, and strengthening the ‘Khmelpivo’ brand. Dmytro Oliinyk emphasized that the decision to purchase was driven by the synergy between glass production and brewing.

Opillia Expands Production Capacity

At the same time, one of the most well-known companies in the industry, Opillia, is starting a large-scale expansion of its infrastructure. By 2027, the company plans to increase its production capacity by 40%. The current investment in asset development is already approaching 200 million hryvnias.

A key focus of the strategy will be the launch of a second plant in the Ternopil region, which will specialize in the production of non-alcoholic beverages. Since 2012, over 1 billion hryvnias have already been invested in the Opillia group of companies. Today, the company has the capacity to produce between 6.5 to 7 million liters of beverages monthly and is considering further expanding exports to European Union countries.
