The State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Development of Ukraine has issued a permit for the construction of a building materials manufacturing plant in the Lviv region for Kingspan Property, a subsidiary of the Irish company Kingspan Group. This group is a global leader in the production of building materials, operating in over 80 countries and having more than 210 factories in its portfolio. The new plant in Lviv will become an important part of this global network.

The construction project involves an investment of €280 million. As part of the project, workshops will be created for the production of metal profiles, components, mineral wool panels, and beams. Additionally, the project includes recreational areas for employees and other production facilities. There are also plans to establish a radiation protection shelter for 455 people.

New Factory in Chernihiv

At the same time, a new factory in Chernihiv may begin operations by the end of the year, with equipment purchased from Poland by the “Textile-Contact” group. The process of transporting the equipment was delayed due to border blockades by farmers last year. As a result, the cost of transportation increased by 400%. Currently, 65 trucks of equipment have been delivered to Ukraine, part of which has already been installed. Preparations are also underway for a facility covering more than 7,000 square meters.
