Suziria Group Increases Presence in the Ukrainian Market by 50% Since 2021

Suziria Group, one of the leading distributors of pet food in Ukraine, has significantly expanded its presence in the domestic market over the past three years. According to co-owner Polina Kosharnaya, last year marked steady growth in the pet industry, with an increase of 20% in hryvnia terms and 7% in tonnage.

From 2021 to 2024, the company demonstrated faster growth rates than the market as a whole. During this period, its market share in Ukraine increased from 10.7% to nearly 15%. The foundation of this success is the MasterZoo store network and the distribution arm of Suziria Ukraine, as well as the active development of its own pet food brands.

Geographic Expansion and Future Strategy

According to Polina Kosharnaya, before the onset of the full-scale war with Russia, their international presence was limited to Moldova and Belarus. After February 24, the company ceased cooperation with Belarusian partners and actively expanded its operations in Europe, currently operating in ten countries on the continent.

Now, the company prioritizes entering the largest European pet store chain, Fressnapf. Additionally, in the long term, after 2027, Suziria Group plans to enter the markets of the USA and Asia, aiming to strengthen its position on the global stage.
