Suziria Group Invests Over €6 Million in Wet Pet Food Production in Ivano-Frankivsk Region

One of Ukraine’s leading pet food manufacturers, Suziria Group, known for its MasterZoo store chain, has launched a new production line for wet pet food in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The area of the new facility is 800 square meters, and the investment exceeded €6.1 million. In 2026, the company plans to invest an additional over €1 million to expand its capacity.

The New Plant Will Reduce Market Dependence on Imports

Investing in its own production is a strategic step for Suziria Group to ensure business stability and reduce dependence on imports. According to the company’s estimates, imported pet products currently account for about 66% of the Ukrainian market. The new plant in Kalush is capable of covering up to 15% of the domestic market for wet pet food — approximately 66,000 tons per year.

As of today, the facility’s capacity allows for the production of up to 5,000 tons of products annually, and by the end of the current year, this figure is expected to increase to 10,000 tons.

Development of Suziria Group’s Production Infrastructure

The launch of the new facility marks the third production site for Suziria Group in Kalush. The first production of grain-based feeds and treats was opened in September 2022, and the second, for meat treats, was launched in November 2023. The company also has another facility in Kharkiv.

Investing in its own production is a strategic step for business stability and reducing dependence on imports.

At the new line in Kalush, Suziria Group will produce not only products under its own brands but also for partner companies. The manufacturer’s products are already exported to 13 countries worldwide, indicating a high level of development in production infrastructure and competitiveness in international markets.
