Ukrainian Retail Chains Are Actively Expanding in Ukraine and Abroad

Ukrainian retail and restaurant chains continue to actively develop and expand their presence both within the country and beyond its borders. The well-known omnichannel electronics and household appliances retailer “Foxtrot,” which has 126 stores in 68 cities across Ukraine, is implementing a strategy for scaling and modernizing its retail locations. Recently, the company opened two new stores: one in Brovary, Kyiv region, with an area of 1,696 square meters, and another in Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia, covering 655 square meters.

Additionally, a new store of the Italian brand Terranova has been launched in the Nikolsky shopping and entertainment center in Kharkiv. This is the retailer’s second store in the city, located on the -3 floor of the shopping center. The store spans 287 square meters, is completely safe for visitors, and will not interrupt operations during air raid alerts. Previously, a JYSK store with an area of 1,175 square meters opened on the same floor of the shopping center.
Expansion Abroad and New Establishments in Ukraine
The Ukrainian cider chain “Bilyi Nalyv” has opened new establishments in the city of Poznań, Poland, and in Bratislava, Slovakia. Both bars operate under a franchise, and the chain also has locations in Wrocław, Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Łódź, indicating its active expansion.
At the end of summer, a new retail park, Obriy Peretyn, will open in the suburbs of Lviv, covering an area of 7,000 square meters. Contracts have already been signed with the first tenants, reflecting a high level of interest and the promising nature of this project.
