Choosing a Compactor and Application Features
The farm specializes in growing grain crops, for which quality pre-sowing soil preparation is crucial. For some time, farmers carefully studied the agricultural machinery market, comparing different models and manufacturers. As a result, they chose the wide-working trailed compactor SWIFTER SE 10000, which allows for a complex of operations to be performed in a single pass and operates with high productivity. An important criterion was also the favorable offer in terms of the “price-quality” ratio.
The equipment was purchased in the summer of 2025 through the official dealer “Agroresource”. After delivery to the farm, service specialists completed the final assembly of the unit, conducted training for the operators, and organized a test run. Only after a thorough check and assurance of the compactor’s functionality did the specialists finalize the settings.
“I wish that the service departments of all companies operated at the same level.”
Practical Experience and Advantages of the BEDNAR SWIFTER SE 10000
During operation, the BEDNAR SWIFTER SE 10000 effectively levels the field surface, crushes clods, loosens the soil, and forms a quality seedbed at the specified depth. During its operational period, the compactor processed about 750 hectares. With an average working speed of 12–14 km/h and a working width of 10 meters, the unit achieves a productivity of up to 100 hectares in 10 hours of work. Fuel consumption does not exceed 6–7 liters per hectare, depending on field conditions.
The technical advantages of the compactor were specifically noted: the installed bearings require no maintenance, and the reinforced construction of the compactor reduces the likelihood of breakdowns during the busy fieldwork season. This minimizes downtime and increases the efficiency of equipment use.
According to the farm manager, the combination of high-quality processing, productivity, economical fuel consumption, and ease of maintenance makes the BEDNAR SWIFTER SE 10000 an indispensable assistant in the daily operations of the agricultural enterprise, especially during active fieldwork.
