Features of Bimi Broccoli and Its Nutritional Value
Bimi broccoli is distinguished by its tender, slightly sweet flavor and long, delicate stems, which are consumed whole along with the florets. This approach is ideal for consumers who value healthy eating and strive for ecological sustainability. Experts note the unique qualities of this vegetable — it is low in calories, rich in vitamins A and C, folates, and is a source of potassium and manganese.
“Experts describe Bimi as unique in taste and nutritional value: the vegetable is low in calories and high in vitamins A and C, folates, and is also a natural source of potassium and manganese.”
Production and Development Prospects of Bimi Broccoli in Italy
The production of Bimi broccoli in the Italian market is handled by the company Cinana Vibes, which holds a license in the country. Cultivation takes place in several countries in the region, including Calabria during the cold season. The previous commercial year 2024/25 saw a twofold increase in sales and the product entering major retail chains. In the 2025/26 season, producers plan to further expand this success.
The official start of the season took place on November 11, 2025, in Rome at the residence of the Finnish ambassador. The event combined the presentation of the gastronomic novelty with an art event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of photographer Claire Aho.
Bimi broccoli has already been dubbed a revolution among vegetables due to its simplicity and speed of preparation. It can be roasted, sautéed, or grilled without lengthy peeling, which meets modern demands for healthy, tasty, and waste-free eating.
