Controlling Verticillium Wilt in Rapeseed: The Importance of High-Tolerance Hybrids

Photo: from open sources
Verticillium wilt in rapeseed, primarily prevalent in the western and northern regions of Ukraine, remains one of the most challenging diseases to control. Unlike sclerotinia, there are no effective fungicidal agents available to reduce its impact. According to experts, one of the key conditions for reducing the risk of this disease’s spread is the proper selection of rapeseed hybrids. Verticillium wilt can only be controlled with hybrids that have high tolerance to this disease.
