Corn Harvesting in France Nears Completion: Pace Exceeds Average
The corn harvest in France is nearing its conclusion: as of November 3, farmers have harvested 90% of the area, which is 8% higher than the previous week’s figure (82%). According to official data, this year’s harvesting pace significantly surpasses the five-year average of 85%.

The Condition of Corn Crops Remains Stable
The quality of corn crops has not changed over the week. Experts emphasize that 59% of the area is rated as being in good to excellent condition, while 24% is in satisfactory condition, and 16% is in poor or very poor condition.

Winter Crop Planting Campaign in Full Swing
Meanwhile, the planting campaign for winter crops is ongoing. Winter barley has already been sown on 87% of the area, which is 7% more compared to the previous week (80%). For comparison, the five-year average is 85%.
As for winter wheat, it has already been sown on 79% of the planned area, significantly exceeding last week’s result of 68% and also surpassing the five-year average of 74%.
