Corn Prices in Ukraine Decrease Due to High Supply

The decline in corn futures quotes on the Matif exchange has led to a decrease in prices in the external physical market, negatively affecting both old and new crops. The Ukrainian corn market continues to feel pressure from high domestic supply.

In the ports of Odessa, the price of corn fluctuates between $224–226/ton on DAP terms, while at the western border, prices are around €200–202/ton FCA. Meanwhile, the new crop has not experienced significant changes and is trading at $200–204/ton DAP.

- FCA Ukraine (border): ~200-202€;
- DAP Italy (northeast): ~235-245€;
- DAP Netherlands (south): ~228-230€.
Buyer Indications for the 2025 Crop
- DAP Ukraine (Odessa): ~200-204$;
- DAP Germany (northwest): ~205-208€;
- DAP Netherlands (south): ~217-219€.
It is worth noting that corn has become the most exported commodity from Ukraine.
