Corn Yield in Ukraine Approaches 7 t/ha in 2025
As of December 11, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 55.5 million tons of grains and legumes, which is 92% of the projected area. According to the Ministry of Economy, corn harvesting is ongoing: 83% of the planted area has been harvested, totaling 25.37 million tons. The average yield of this crop currently stands at 6.94 t/ha.

Sunflower and Soybean: Season Summary
Sunflower harvesting has been completed on an area of 4.82 million hectares, which is 93% of the planned area. The gross harvest of the crop amounts to 9.06 million tons, with an average yield reaching 1.88 t/ha. Soybean harvesting is in its final stages: from 2.02 million hectares (98% of the area), 4.78 million tons have been harvested, with an average yield of 2.37 t/ha.
Results of Sugar Beet Harvesting and Yield Improvement
The sugar beet harvesting campaign is nearly complete — 99% of the area has been harvested. In total, farmers have obtained 10.73 million tons, and the average yield has reached 54.4 t/ha.
“According to the Ministry of Economy, farmers are actively working to complete the harvest, and the average yield indicators for major crops in Ukraine in 2025 are already showing an increase compared to last year.”
Thanks to favorable weather conditions and the use of modern agricultural technologies, this year’s yields of grains, legumes, and industrial crops are showing growth compared to last year, and the agricultural sector continues to strengthen its position in the global market.
