Other high prices are set at gas stations: “Rur Group” – 57.99 UAH/l, Shell – 57.95 UAH/l, SOCAR – 57.66 UAH/l. Expert Forecasts on Fuel Prices
Experts note that after the recent drop in oil prices, there is also a trend towards decreasing fuel prices in the Ukrainian wholesale market. The beginning of this process was noted at the end of last week. However, specialists claim that a decrease in prices at gas stations can be expected no sooner than in two weeks.
The potential decrease in prices could amount to 5-6 UAH/l, but in the near future, it is worth being prepared for a reduction within the range of 0.5-1 UAH/l. However, there is a risk that the decrease in gasoline prices may be lower than forecasted due to the rising euro. This is related to the fact that fuel excise taxes in Ukraine are calculated in euros, and an increase in the euro exchange rate may affect fuel prices.
