Gas Prices in Ukraine: A Slight Increase and Forecasts for April

In Ukraine, there is a slight increase in gas prices. As of April 2, the average price for A-95 gasoline is 55.68 UAH/l, which is 2 kopecks higher compared to the previous day. Since the beginning of the week, prices have risen by only those same 2 kopecks, which aligns with analysts’ forecasts that gas prices will remain stable in the near future.

Experts indicate that the reason for price stability is the rising cost of oil due to political pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump on Iran and Venezuela. Research suggests that gas station prices may remain stable at least until mid-April. If OPEC decides to increase oil production quotas, this could lead to a decrease in gas prices.
Forecasts for Possible Price Reductions
According to analysts, if the price of oil decreases in the near future, Ukrainian gas stations may start lowering gasoline prices as early as the end of April. However, it is likely that networks may act proactively, trying to attract new customers ahead of purchasing cheaper oil.
Today’s Gas Station Prices
According to the consulting group “A-95”, major gas station networks have set gasoline prices in the range of 50.4-58.99 UAH/l. The highest prices are offered by the WOG and OKKO networks, where gasoline costs 58.99 UAH/l. High prices are also observed at “Rur Group” stations (57.99 UAH/l), Shell (57.95 UAH/l), and SOCAR (57.66 UAH/l). The lowest gasoline price is recorded at RLS stations, where the cost is 50.4 UAH/l.
