Germany Raises Wheat and Rapeseed Harvest Forecasts for 2025

The National Association of Agricultural Cooperatives in Germany has revised its forecasts for wheat and rapeseed harvests upward for 2025. This adjustment was made possible due to timely rains that positively affected yield formation.

Increased Wheat Harvest Forecast
According to updated expectations, the total wheat harvest in Germany in 2025 could reach 21.51 million tons. This is 0.5 million tons more compared to the previous forecast made in May. Additionally, this figure exceeds last year’s harvest by 16.3%.
Growth in Rapeseed Production
Forecasts for rapeseed have also been revised upward. The expected production of this crop will be 3.92 million tons, which is 0.1 million tons more than previous estimates. Compared to last year, this increase represents 8.1%.
