Grain Exports from Ukraine Exceeded 1.6 Million Tons in October 2025
Since the beginning of October 2025, Ukraine has exported over 1.6 million tons of grains and legumes, bringing the total export volume for the 2024/25 marketing season to 8.286 million tons. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, citing operational data from the State Customs Service.

Dynamics of Grain Exports
For comparison, as of October 23, 2024, Ukraine had shipped 13.266 million tons of grains, with 2.818 million tons exported in October. Thus, this year’s export volumes are slightly lower than last year’s figures for the same period.
Export Structure by Crop
Since the beginning of the new marketing year, Ukraine has exported the following volumes of major grain crops:
- wheat — 5.819 million tons, of which 1.082 million tons were exported in October;
- barley — 1.026 million tons, with 153 thousand tons in October;
- rye — 0.2 thousand tons, with no exports in October;
- corn — 1.271 million tons, with 356 thousand tons in October.
“As of October 22, Ukraine has exported 8.286 million tons of grains and legumes since the beginning of the 2024/25 marketing year, of which 1.606 million tons were shipped this month.”
Additionally, since the start of the season, exports of Ukrainian flour have totaled 19.5 thousand tons, including 18.8 thousand tons of wheat flour. In October of this year, 4.2 thousand tons of flour were sent abroad, of which 4.1 thousand tons were wheat flour.
