Grain Exports from Ukraine in the 2025/26 Marketing Year Decreased by Over 30%

As of April 8, in the 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine exported 26.801 million tons of grains and legumes. This figure is 12.022 million tons, or 30.9%, lower compared to the same period last year.
Details of Export of Major Crops
The volume of Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 10.199 million tons. This is 3.194 million tons (23.8%) less than in the same period of the previous year.
Barley exports totaled 1.415 million tons, which is 36.8% lower compared to last year’s figures. Rye exports remain minimal — only 0.2 thousand tons.
14.807 million tons of corn were shipped abroad, which is 2.87 million tons or 16.2% below last year’s result.
Flour Export Figures
The volume of Ukrainian flour exports is 50.6 thousand tons (equivalent to 67.5 thousand tons of grain). This is 4.6 thousand tons less (8.3%) than the previous year.
