Harvest 2025 in Ukraine: Farmers Collected Over 30 Million Tons of Grain
Ukrainian agricultural producers have completely finished harvesting wheat, barley, and peas. As of the end of September 2025, the country has threshed 30.423 million tons of grain crops from an area of 7.213 million hectares, which constitutes 63% of all sown land.

Results of the Grain and Legume Harvest
According to official information, the largest share of the harvest is wheat — 22.525 million tons, collected from 5.020 million hectares. Barley yielded 5.33 million tons from an area of 1.345 million hectares, while peas amounted to 626.6 thousand tons from 266 thousand hectares.
Corn has already brought farmers 964.2 thousand tons of harvest from an area of 195.9 thousand hectares. Other grain and legume crops provided 859.4 thousand tons from 308.7 thousand hectares.
“The largest volumes of collection were recorded in the Odesa region – 3.687 million tons from an area of 1.101 million hectares. In the Vinnytsia region, farmers collected 2.418 million tons from an area of 436 thousand hectares. In Kirovohrad, 2.223 million tons were harvested from an area of 541.3 thousand hectares. The Khmelnytskyi region threshed 2.134 million tons from an area of 309.6 thousand hectares.”
Harvesting of Technical Crops
The harvesting of rapeseed has also been completed — the gross yield of this crop amounted to 3.303 million tons from an area of 1.275 million hectares. Regarding other important crops, soybeans yielded 1.511 million tons from an area of 749.7 thousand hectares, while sunflowers produced 4.112 million tons from an area of 2.239 million hectares.
In Ukraine, the collection of sugar beets is also actively ongoing: 1.419 million tons of this crop have already been harvested from an area of 29 thousand hectares.
Overall, the results of the 2025 harvest demonstrate high yields and stable development of Ukrainian agriculture even in the context of a challenging economic and climatic situation.
