Sowing Campaign and Nationwide Indicators
Alongside the harvesting, the sowing campaign for winter crops is underway, involving local farming enterprises. The region is actively sowing winter wheat, barley, rye, and rapeseed. Nationwide, over 30.4 million tons of grain crops have already been harvested, which accounts for 63% of the total area planted with these crops.
“Our agricultural producers work without weekends. We thank everyone who works daily in the fields to provide food for Poltava and the country,” noted Volodymyr Kogut.
This dedication to work allows the region not only to strengthen its own food potential but also to make a significant contribution to the food security of the entire Ukraine.
