Planting Process and Preparation
Before the trees were planted, the company conducted preparatory work, including applying manure and deep soil loosening. Agronomist Taras Antoniuk noted: “Before planting, we applied manure and performed deep loosening. Everything survived the winter, then we dug trenches and are now carrying out the planting. The predicted cold snap poses no threat to the young trees, as these are late varieties and they are not afraid of the cold. The main thing is to ensure that the roots are covered.”
Expectations for the Harvest
The first apple harvest is expected to be collected this fall, promising a good start for the new orchard.
