The average cost of an Easter basket in 2025 is 1124.77 UAH, which is 17% higher than the previous year. The most significant price increases are observed for cheese, sausage, and eggs.
Popular Searches by Ukrainians Before the Holiday
According to Google data, Ukrainians are actively searching for recipes for Easter cake, natural dyes for eggs, schedules for church services, and traditions of celebration. There is also a high interest in promotions and discounts on Easter products.
Price comparisons in popular supermarkets indicate that the cheapest set of products can be found at ATB, where it costs 950.19 UAH. Meanwhile, at Novus, the Easter basket will cost 1189.73 UAH, which is 239 UAH more.
“To save money, experts advise buying products in advance, before prices rise, tracking promotions in supermarkets, and using promo codes,” specialists note.
Additionally, it is recommended to choose products from Ukrainian manufacturers, which are often cheaper than imported ones. Many Ukrainian products also fall under the “National Cashback” program, making them even more attractive to buyers.
