Kovalska to Start Production of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete After Launching New €100 Million Plant

The industrial and construction group “Kovalska” is completing preparations for the launch of the first phase of a modern autoclaved aerated concrete production plant, which will have an annual capacity of approximately 600,000 cubic meters of product. After the second phase is put into operation, production will increase to 1.2 million cubic meters per year, making “Kovalska Gazobeton” one of the largest producers of autoclaved aerated concrete in Ukraine.

The total investment in the construction of both phases exceeds €100 million, indicating the company’s serious intentions. This is the largest project in the company’s history.
The new plant is located on an industrial site of over 140 hectares, situated 40 km from Lviv. This area already hosts quarries for the extraction of lime and sand, as well as industrial assets for their processing.
Additionally, within the same area, the construction of a Siltek dry building mixtures plant is planned. Together with the gas concrete plant and the quarries, this will form Kovalska’s western industrial hub. The hub will be located in close proximity to the company’s partners and clients, as well as the borders with the EU, ensuring convenient transportation of products for both domestic consumers and export.
