Nearly 9,000 Grain Cars Head to Odesa Ports Daily

During the past week, the flow of grain cars heading towards the ports of Greater Odesa has significantly increased. According to Valeriy Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Transportation Technology and Commercial Operations Department at JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia,” the number of cars has risen by 1,313 units, reaching 8,915 cars per day.

Increase in Unloading Rates at Greater Odesa Ports

As of November 6, the average daily volume of grain car unloading at the ports of Greater Odesa has increased by 237 units and now stands at 1,251 cars per day. The average daily loading of cars on the railway network towards these ports has also risen—up by 251 units, totaling 1,371 cars per day.

“The number of grain cars heading to the ports of Greater Odesa increased by 1,313 units last week, totaling 8,915 cars per day.”

Transport Dynamics in the Danube Ports

In the Danube region ports, there has also been a slight increase in the flow of grain cars. Over the past week, their number has risen by 7 units, now totaling 114 cars per day. At the same time, the average daily unloading rate of grain in this direction has decreased by 4 cars, now standing at 12 cars per day compared to the previous week.
