Over 31.5 Million Tons of Grain and Leguminous Crops Collected in Ukraine

As of October 3, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have completed the harvest of 31.5 million tons of grain and leguminous crops from an area of 7.2 million hectares, which is 65% of the total area sown with these crops.

Main Results of the Grain and Leguminous Harvest

  • Wheat: 22.5 million tons harvested from an area of 5.02 million ha
  • Barley: 5.3 million tons from an area of 1.35 million ha
  • Peas: 626.6 thousand tons from an area of 266 thousand ha
  • Corn: 2.06 million tons from an area of 405.4 thousand ha
  • Other grains and legumes: 879.6 thousand tons from an area of 315.8 thousand ha

Leaders Among Ukrainian Regions

  • Odesa Region: 3.7 million tons from an area of 1.12 million ha
  • Vinnytsia Region: 2.43 million tons from an area of 437 thousand ha
  • Kirovohrad Region: 2.22 million tons from an area of 541.3 thousand ha
  • Khmelnytskyi Region: 2.18 million tons from an area of 317.5 thousand ha

Meanwhile, the harvesting of oilseeds continues. So far, the following have been harvested:

  • Rapeseed: 3.3 million tons from an area of 1.28 million ha
  • Soybeans: 2.23 million tons from an area of 1.01 million ha
  • Sunflower: 5.54 million tons from an area of 3.02 million ha
  • Sugar Beets: 2.42 million tons harvested from an area of 49.8 thousand ha

To date, sunflowers have been harvested from 58.7% of the sown area, soybeans from 46%, corn from 10%, and sugar beets from 25%. The harvesting of wheat, barley, peas, and rapeseed has already been completed.

“As of October 3, 2025, Ukraine has already harvested 31,548.8 thousand tons of grain crops from an area of 7,213.8 thousand ha. 65% of the area sown with these crops has been harvested.”
