Partnership with Greece and Project Launch
A corresponding agreement for the implementation of the project was signed with Sotiris A. Bouzeas, the founder and CEO of the strategic partner MetaCluster TIASI. The main goal of the initiative is to support small farming and the economy of the region through the cultivation of olive trees. The business project is planned for implementation next year, which is expected to benefit local farmers.
“We focused on the details of the business project for next year, which could be beneficial for small farming and, consequently, for the region’s economy. The discussion was about creating an olive tree plantation in the Kherson region,” Prokudin stated.
Seedling Testing and Investment Development Prospects
The CEO of MetaCluster TIASI has already delivered the first olive tree seedlings, which will soon be planted in specially prepared greenhouses. During the winter season, specialists will check whether the climatic conditions of Kherson are suitable for olive cultivation. Specific temperature conditions, as well as carefully organized fertilization and irrigation systems, are necessary for obtaining a quality harvest.
If the testing is successful, the seedlings will be transplanted into open ground in the spring. The first results of their adaptation can be assessed by next winter.
Additionally, the parties discussed the possibility of long-term leasing of land plots in safe communities of the region. This initiative will attract international investors and ensure government support for the further development of projects in the Kherson region.
