Delivery of American Meal: Details of the Agreement
The vessel named M/V Archon delivered approximately 60,000 tons of soybean meal from the USA to the Polish shore. The purchase was made by the Polish subsidiary of Bunge, one of the leading players in the global agricultural market.
“This shipment demonstrates the advantages of sustainable American soybean production for the developed livestock and poultry sectors in Poland, which have an increasing need for reliable, high-quality, and sustainable soybean raw materials. It also lays a new foundation for cooperation between U.S. Soy and Poland — as well as the EU as a whole,” the statement said.
Strategic Importance for Poland and the EU
The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) emphasizes that this shipment will not only provide the Polish and European feed industry with quality raw materials but also strengthen cooperation between the agricultural sectors of the USA, Poland, and the European Union. USSEC representatives expressed hope for the continued development of partnerships and successful collaboration in feed production and oilseed processing in the future.
