Hands-on Learning and Plant Care

The little ones plant and care for various types of vegetables, including onions, garlic, beets, zucchini, and lettuce. They water the plants, observe their growth, measure them, and meticulously tend to the garden outdoors. Through this process, the children gain their first skills in responsibility, hard work, and love for nature.

The First Harvest and Support for the Initiative

The first harvest has already been gathered: the students of the lyceum, along with their mentors, tasted fresh salad and young zucchini, which became a reward for their efforts and a source of pride for the children. The lyceum emphasizes that such projects foster curiosity, ecological thinking, and diligence in children.

“We sincerely thank the lyceum educators for their initiative and care. It is precisely such practical and inspiring approaches that help children explore the world, cultivate a love for nature, and develop skills in responsibility and hard work,” stated the Odesa Regional State Administration.
